What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser. They allow websites to remember you between visits or maintain your session while you're logged in.

Cookies We Use

Authentication Cookies (Strictly Necessary)

When you sign in, Clerk (our authentication provider) sets session cookies to keep you logged in. These cookies are strictly necessary for the Service to function — without them, you cannot stay signed in. They contain a secure, encrypted session token, not personal information.

Under GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive, strictly necessary cookies do not require your consent. We do not show a cookie consent banner for these cookies because they are required to provide the service you have requested.

  • __clerk_db_jwt — session token; expires when you sign out or your session expires (typically 7 days of inactivity)
  • __client_uat — tracks client state for Clerk session management; session-scoped

Analytics (No Cookies)

We use Vercel Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not collect personal information. It counts page views using anonymised, non-persistent signals. No consent is required and no cookie is set.

Cookies We Do NOT Use

  • Advertising or retargeting cookies
  • Third-party tracking cookies (e.g., Facebook Pixel, Google Ads)
  • Cross-site behavioural profiling
  • Analytics cookies that identify individual users
  • Any non-essential cookies requiring your consent

Why No Cookie Banner?

We do not show a cookie consent banner because we only use strictly necessary authentication cookies (which are exempt from consent requirements under the ePrivacy Directive) and a cookie-free analytics solution. We do not use any optional, marketing, or tracking cookies that would require your consent.

How to Control Cookies

You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling authentication cookies will prevent you from staying signed in. Instructions for common browsers:

  • Google Chrome
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Apple Safari
